Donal Skehan explores the colourful festival of Vaisakhi with chefs and special guests, while cooking up a delicious feast of Spinach and Paneer Curry and a sugar-dipped sweet treat, Jalebi. 

Synopsis: 

Donal Skehan celebrates Vaisakhi as he is joined in studio by Chef Rajan Singh Chandri from Tadka House who will share his recipe for a luxurious Palak Paneer (a creamy spinach and paneer curry) and master of Indian sweets, Jarnail Singh makes a crispy, sugar-dipped traditional treat, Jalebi. 

Donal’s guests this week are Ravinder Singh Oberoi, Ireland’s first Sikh member of the Garda Reserve and Gurpreet Channa Hayes who share their Vaisakhi traditions and the significance of the festival.
