Born and raised as a slave Spartacus is sold to a Gladiator trainer called Batiatus. After weeks of training Spartacus rebels against his owners and leading the other slaves escapes from Batiatus’s control. The rebels move around the Roman empire finding more escaped slaves to join in their mutiny along the way. Under Spartacus’ guidance, they make their way to southern Italy, where they hope to cross the sea and return home.

Annie has grown up in London with her mum Elizabeth and is the quintessential English Rose. Meanwhile Hallie was reared by her dad Nick on a vineyard in Napa Valley in California. The pair swap places in a bid to bond with the parent they’ve never met. Everything is going according to plan until Nick gets engaged. It’s up to the girls to try to reunite their estranged parents and have the family they’ve always dreamt of.
