Saw Doctors Documentary ‘I want my old job back’ When The Saw Doctors released their debut album, “If This Is Rock And Roll, I Want My Old Job Back”, nobody could have foreseen the cultural impact it would have and the how it would change five lads' lives forever.  30 years on,  Ann Marie Kelly revisits the album with it’s creators to review its inception and legacy. Reuniting the original members in Tuam for the first time in years, there is plenty of talk of days on the road, learning to drive, being forced to sing on counter tops in local chippers and one member speaks of not being able to 'come out'.  They revisit the adventures which struck a chord in an Ireland that was 'waking up in 1990' and how they set it alight with fun, music and best of all, 'the craic'.  The Waterboys' Mike Scott’s who produced N17 explains his love for their genuine innocence and lack of pretension that drew him to them. There is even talk of the “shams” reuniting.
