RIVERDANCE 25TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW This programme starts with a brief documentary piece detailing the history of Riverdance, then presents the performance in full. This is the greatest manifestation of one of the greatest dance shows of all time. RTÉ One, Monday 28th December, 9.25pm

THE FRANCIS STREET PHOTOGRAPHER This TV documentary shows a unique collection of stunning, original photographs, and outlines a fascinating social history and celebration of people and places from the photographer John Walsh’s life’s works. RTÉ One, Tuesday 29th December, 6.30pm

IRELAND IN MUSIC Ireland in Music sees the country become a stage, as Denise Chaila and Sharon Shannon perform along The Cliffs of Moher, Clannad perform in Poison Glen, Gweedore; Lisa Hannigan in the bandstand at Saint Stephen's Green and The Stunning in the grounds of Trim Castle. THE REAL FIELD In THE REAL FIELD, John B Keane’s son, broadcaster and writer, Billy Keane, goes in search of the truth behind the murder that inspired his father’s most famous work. Billy explores the story behind The Field and looks at its progression from real murder to the theatre, to the Oscar stage. RTÉ One, Tuesday 29th December, 9.25pm

GROWING UP AT THE END OF THE WORLD ***NEW*** Over the course of a year and a half, this documentary follows three activists - 16-year-olds Saoi O’Connor, Theo Cullen-Mouze and Beth Doherty - as they lead demonstrations, interrogate politicians, and work alongside Greta Thunberg to create a vision for the youth climate movement, all while juggling school, friends, and a global pandemic. Ireland's film censors, who in the early days admitted taking guidance from the ten commandments, were determined to safeguard and uphold traditional Catholic values.
