THE ROSE OF TRALEE 2019 ***NEW*** This year the Rose of Tralee festival will celebrate its 60th Year and presenter Dáithí Ó Sé will also be marking his 10th year.Host Dáithí will interview the final 32 Roses live from the festival dome in Kerry at 8pm on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 August on RTÉ One with a break for the Nine O’Clock News. Host Dáithí will be his usual natural, witty and exuberant self as he ensures that the 32 hopefuls put their best foot forward when he interviews them over the two nights.
Nationwide – Week 35 This week on Nationwide, the programme visits Listowel in Co. Kerry and Mulranny in Co. Mayo, Ireland’s two participants in this year’s Entente Florale competition; presenter Anne Cassin heads to Dalkey Island off the South Co. Dublin coast to see how the Island's feral goat herd have survived over the bitter winter; and as the All Ireland Football final approaches, the team take a look behind the scenes at Croke Park and visit a new 50 acre GAA farm in County Dublin where they grow the grass and turf for the pitch in the famous stadium.
