GREAT LIGHTHOUSES OF IRELAND In this third episode we discover the roles that lighthouse keepers played in both World Wars, acting as unofficial coastguards, keeping detailed logs of their observations. From sightings of German submarines, ships being torpedoed and even saving shipwrecked sailors, our keepers were on the spot witnesses. RTÉ One, Sunday 14th October, 6.30pm

SAY YES TO THE DRESS In this new episode, new mum Deirdre McCarthy needs to find a dress quickly as her wedding is fast approching. Jayme Dobson has flown from Australia to find her dress ahead of her June 2019 wedding. Gillian Fitzgerald has her heart set on one style of dress but will Franc agree with her? THE GEANSAÍ The Geansaí returns with a new series focusing on Ireland’s sporting communities and their stories. In the first of three episodes, Garry Mac Donncha steps into the tightly knit and very fit boxing community. The series ranges from showcasing the elite level senior boxers of both men and women aiming for the next Olympics, to community clubs like Fr. Horgan’s Boxing Club in Churchfield, Cork, and Cumann Dornálaíochta Chonamara based in Casla, Go. Galway. RTÉ One, Tuesday 16th October, 7.00pm

NEVEN’S SPANISH FOOD TRAILS ***Final*** Neven ends his travels around Andalusia in Cadiz, reputed to be the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe, dating back 3000 years. He visits the city’s fish market and a small sherry bodega. Then he cooks Prawns in Garlic and meets a chef specialising in cooking tuna. RTÉ One, Tuesday 16th October, 8.30pm

DONAL’S MEALS IN MINUTES In this episode, Donal has recipes that are going to impress your friends but that don’t take hours and hours to prep and cook. Dishes include Vietnamese Salmon and Balsamic Pork. RTÉ One, Wednesday 17th October, 7.30pm

THIS CROWDED HOUSE This week we meet two very different young adults, in two different parts of the country, but both feel trapped at home and are hoping to spread their wings. RTÉ2, Wednesday 17th October, 9.30pm
