BOOK ON ONE The Wherewithal by Philip Schultz read by Marty Rea. This novel in verse tells the story of Henryk Wyrzykowski, a drifting, haunted young man hiding form the Vietnam War in the basement of a San Francisco welfare building where he works. He spends his time translating his mother's diaries which refer to the Jedwabne massacre, an event which took place in German-occupied Poland in 1941. This novel in verse is a meditation on the nature of evil and the destruction of war.
