Dan Hegarty – The Alternative: ‘Can You Still Feel?’ by Jason Falkner – Buried Treasure When you’re talking about albums that missed mainstream acclaim, ‘Can You Still Feel?’ by Jason Falkner should never be far from that conversation. Released in 1999; this album saw Falkner work with producer Nigel Godrich (who’s next stop was Beck’s ‘Mutations’ album). Falkner would go on to join Beck’s band for the ‘Morning Phase’ album. Dan Hegarty – The Alternative: Trevor Sensor in Acoustic Session On a recent visit to Ireland, Trevor Sensor recorded some tracks in Studio 8. Through a series of EPs (the latest of which is 'Starved Nights Of Saturday Falls') and singles, the 22 year of US singer has built a reputation of being both a prolific and electric performer. Signed to the same label (Jagjaguwar) as Bon Iver and Sharon Van Etten, Sensor has a big future ahead of him. RTÉ 2fm, Tuesday 6th September, 12.00am

Dan Hegarty – The Alternative: Otherkin live at Eurosonic 2016 Their performance at the Eurosonic festival in The Netherlands in January was one of the most talked about. Otherkin’s wall of noise is one of the most impressive that you’ll come across. Like all good guitar bands, there are strong pop tunes buried beneath the slab of guitars.
