Hey Fuzzy Yellow! 

First series of unique new pre-school edutainment show will be available from 18th of Nov on RTÉjr and  on RTÉ Player 

Toon2Tango GmbH & Co. KG., the kids and family entertainment venture headed by long-time television and movie industry experts Ulli Stoef and Jo Daris, has announced that its unique new show for the very young, Hey Fuzzy Yellow!, created and developed by Måns Swanberg and Toon2Tango. Production of series one is expected to be complete by early 2025. 

Hey Fuzzy Yellow!, a spirited new spin on childhood edutainment with a focus on independent thinking and self-expression through exploration in the company of Fuzzy Yellow and friends, is a co-production by Toon2Tango, Curiosity Ink Media, Treehouse Republic and Hotel Hungaria Animation. 

US-based Curiosity Ink Media is the original content generator and prolific storytelling division of Grom Social Enterprises, a media, technology and entertainment company dedicated to family-friendly programming, web filtering technology, and safe social media for kids. 

Hotel Hungaria is a recently founded animation production company and studio in Belgium, which brings together nearly 70 diverse talents, whose expertise extends from strategy, content creation/design, and media and advertising to video production and technology. Hotel Hungaria works with national and international brands and IP owners and creates tailor-made content for multiple clients. 

Established in 2010, Treehouse Republic is a creative-led award-winning 2D animation studio, who, having been raised on Saturday morning cartoons while searching for the toys in the cereal box, have a strong comedy action core that they pour into all their work. With over 1,500 minutes of content created to date, including shows like Atom Town, Cozmo & Friends!, Ballybraddan and Hungry Bear Tales, Treehouse loves to develop and create series that bring tears of laughter to young and old alike.

Support for Hey Fuzzy Yellow! and its innovative approach also extends to creative funding groups. It has been specially selected for funding by Creative Europe, the European Commission’s flagship programme to support the culture and audio-visual sectors, and Screen Ireland, the development agency for the Irish Film Industry, which invests in talent, creativity and enterprise. 

The show’s commissioning broadcaster is Ireland’s public service broadcaster RTÉ. Hey Fuzzy Yellow! has also secured financing and programming commitments from several international broadcasters.  

It’s no surprise that Hey Fuzzy Yellow! is attracting funding, investment and a wide range of production talent. It’s a brilliant combination of curriculum-driven content with unconventional, very funny characters and situations. It’s also full of fantastic music.

Good Boy

Good Boy is a brand new RTÉ Player original sitcom about one man’s struggle in making a career in comedy while wrestling with the emotional and frequently hysterical journey of trying to get an ADHD diagnosis. 

Told from the perspective of Good Boy – a lost, thirty-something working in a job he hates while he’s trying everything under the sun to get his comedy career going. He tries jumping on every single Instagram, TikTok and Facebook trend in search of the elusive viral hit with no luck. 

Good Boy gets a shot a comedy fame but he cannot seem to focus on anything. And so, begins his long, surreal, often hilarious, very heartwarming journey of attaining an ADHD diagnosis. 

Episode One 

Meet Good Boy! In his mid-thirties, lost in life and jobless. He has next to no luck, but just as all hope seems fully lost, social-media fame comes knocking! 

Episode Two 

With one viral video under his belt, Good Boy is shocked to learn he needs to make more! He tries and fails, but suddenly finds inspiration in a friendly shop-worker, with messy results. 

Episode Three 

Tasked with performing a live show in a week’s time, Good Boy is becoming more aware of his inability to focus on anything. An impromptu visit to his doctor will help clear up his focus issues, right?  

Episode Four 

It’s showtime! Having successfully offended everyone in his life, Good Boy faces judgement day in front of his first live audience – but will he choose to pursue his shaky dreams, or choose life and connection instead?

Series 2

Stand-up comedian Anna Clifford is back for another leg of her epic Irish pub crawl. Lounge, saloon, tavern or snug, what is it about the public houses of Ireland that we love so much? After the success of Series 1, Anna is setting off around the country again to visit some of Ireland’s most charming and captivating pubs. She will be joined for a round by some friends along the way, who will help her sample the atmosphere and have the craic.

JJ Hough’s Singing Pub with Garron Noone
Anna takes TikTok star, Garron Noone, to visit JJ Hough’s Singing Pub in
Banagher, Co. Offaly. To get there Anna and Garron must travel along
the River Shannon. Anna decides that speed boat and inflatable
doughnut are the best modes of transport. The pub has been in owner
Ger Hough’s family since the 1940s and he explains why the pub is
synonymous with live music. Anna and Garron settle in for a drink and
an evening of music and chat, as well as a special performance by
Garron on his guitar that has the whole pub signing along.

The Rusty Mackerel with Eadaoin Fitzmaurice
Anna takes travel influencer Eadaoin Fitzmaurice to the
breathtaking Sliabh Liag mountains, taking in all the beauty
Donegal has to offer. Anna and Eadaoin meet some of the locals,
who try to teach them how to train the mountain’s sheepdogs.
Only a stone’s throw away, in the foothills of Sliabh Liag, is The
Rusty Mackerel. A traditional Irish pub, established in the 1890s,
that has been lovingly restored in recent years since. Anna and
Eadaoin sit down for a drink in the pub’s beautiful beer garden
and take in their scenic surroundings over a pint

The Beach Bar with Adam Kelly
Anna takes comedian Adam Kelly (2biglugs) to The Beach Bar in
Aughris, Co. Sligo. Anna and Adam visit Aughris Head in Sligo Bay,
where they meet a local surf instructor who teaches them how to
surf the wild Atlantic waves. Once they catch a wave back to
shore, Anna explains that they won’t have far to travel, as the
picturesque Beach Bar is located right on the seafront. They warm
up by the fire as they meet the owner, Darren. The Beach Bar is
like travelling back in time, with its thatched roof and unaltered
interior it is truly an authentic Irish pub.

A.E. O’Donohue’s with Taylor-Lee Keating
Anna takes Actress and TikTok star, Taylor-Lee Keating, to visit AE
O’Donohue’s in Fanore, Co. Clare. Anna and Taylor-Lee meet at
Fanore beach, in the heart of The Burren, it also happens to be
the starting point of The Burren’s “easiest” hiking route. Anna
and Taylor-Lee set off on the Caher Valley loop, lucky for them,
its path leads them right to the front door of A.E. O’Donohue’s
pub. They are welcomed in by the owner Pat, who tells them all
about the pub’s history and how it’s been in his family since it
was built back in 1911. Anna and Taylor-Lee then retire to the
snug to sample some of O’Donohue’s famous whiskey collection
and enjoy an evening of trad music

Crossfire

Keeley Hawes plays the role of Jo, a woman on a family holiday whose world instantly changes when gunmen suddenly open fire, turning a picturesque Spanish resort into a living nightmare – the consequences will linger long after the final bullets are fired. Drama, starring Keeley Hawes.
