NEW MONEY Episode1: Sneakerheads The global sneaker market is booming and collectors and specialists worldwide are looking to cash in. The sneaker scene here in Ireland, although in its infancy, is following suit. Early adopters are laying the groundwork to support and promote its culture and looking to get rich in the process. The episode shows Ireland's place in the global sneaker market and follows the journey of Barbara Bennett, the Galway woman whose bespoke sneaker customisations have gained international attention. Episode 2: Crypto Bros Within ten years the stock price of Bitcoin had skyrocketed from $1 to its peak of $68,500 per bitcoin. Now the party's over and the cleanup has begun, with crypto technologists focusing their future at the heart of web 3.0. This episode chronicles the recent crypto shakeup and explores the emotions and the challenges of this world through the eyes of Shalom Osiadi, an Irish/ Nigerian bitcoin entrepreneur who is making his mark on the industry. Episode 3: Control - The eSports Takeover With eSports being welcomed into the fold of broadcasters as well as future Olympic games (2028), the future is bright for those who are poised to take advantage of its exponential growth. It is a global market that is currently valued at $1 billion, with an expectation to quadruple in the coming years. This episode follows one of esports’ leading agents, Wicklow man Ben Finnegan, and profiles the plucky Irish players who are hoping to make it big in the industry.
MADRAÍ Madraí follows behaviourist Paula Doohan and vet Ellen Hegarty as they solve the problems of the country’s most badly behaved dogs.
