Ace My Space grants children the opportunity to score a brand new bedroom makeover, but the catch is that they must allow their friend or family member to take total control over the design decisions. Will they get the room of their dreams or will it be a complete nightmare? Follow YouTube stars Sean Treacy and MC as they transform spaces for families throughout Ireland with the help of a dedicated crew, keeping our nominee’s lifestyles and hobbies in mind while also learning a couple of new tricks and skills along the way.
The 10 episodes of Ace My Space air on Saturday and Sundays on RTÉ2 for 5 weeks
Episode 1: “Glam”
Sean and MC are in Kildare to meet Aoife (13) who wants to revamp her boring room to be more grown up and ‘Hollywood glam’ in its style. However it’ll be her best friend Elbha who is tasked with delivering the design of her dreams. Can Elbha create a room fit for a star?
Episode 2: “Music”
Sean and MC are in Harold’s Cross, Dublin to meet Eoin and his little sister Isabel. Eoin is eager to make his room into a musical masterpiece, with improved storage space, but Isabel is the one who gets to make all the design decisions. Will these siblings be in harmony by the end of it all?
Episode 3: “Gaming”
Sean and MC are in Cork to meet twins Oisin and David. Both are gung ho about gaming, but David is the one making the design decisions for the room they share. David is determined to give Oisin the gamer’s paradise he’s always dreamed about. But will David be able to do enough to win this particular game?
Episode 4: “Farming”
It’s all the fun of the farm for Sean and MC on today’s episode as they travel to Meath to meet Luana who longs for a rustic and relaxed rural bedroom. Now that she no longer shares with her little sister, she has lots of space to play with, but what plans has her cousin Conor got up his sleeve?
Episode 5: “Magic”
Mystery and magic is the key to today’s episode as Sean and MC meet siblings Fionnán and Aifric in Fairview, Dublin. Fionnán is about to have his very own room for the first time and he hopes for a fantasy Harry Potter inspired space, but it’s big sister Aifric who wields the magic wand to deliver the room of his dreams.
Episode 6: “GAA”
Sean and MC are in Donegal to meet Kate and her brother Dylan (who’ll be doing the designing).
Kate’s room is currently a little too pink for her liking and she’s after a bedroom that reflects her love of Gaelic football. Dylan also wants to inject a bit of Donegal GAA into the room but he has some pranks in mind too. Will she rate or slate the space when the final whistle is blown?
Episode 7: “Boxing”
Sean and MC are in Walkinstown, Dublin to meet Niamh and her brother Ben. Niamh is mad for boxing, and longs for a room which can double up as a gym and chill out zone. She has just one rule – absolutely NO UNICORNS. Ben is the one who holds the design power, but will he use it wisely, or when the final bell rings, will he be on the ropes?
Episode 8: “Art”
Sean and MC are in Galway to meet creative, cat loving brothers Oisin and Kealan. Kealan is a budding artist who desperately needs more space to display his creations and improve his storage solutions. Oisin is the one making all the design decisions – will the final result be the work of an artistic master, or an utter disaster?
Episode 9; “Horses and Basketball”
Sean and MC are in Malahide, Dublin to meet sisters Sive and Aisling who share everything – clothes, hobbies, and a room, but their design tastes are not quite the same. Sive has placed her trust in big sis Aisling to deliver a horse and basketball themed room of her dreams, but Aisling might want to sneak in some surprises along the way.
Episode 10: “Tropical”
Sean and MC are in Meath to meet best buds Nicole and Laura for the final episode. Laura wants to redesign her best friend Nicole’s room to be more in keeping with her fun and bubbly personality, so she opts for a totally tropical theme.
