RTÉ Sport to Broadcast Ireland International Rugby Matches until 2017 RTÉ Sport has retained the rights to broadcast the Guinness Series of Rugby Internationals in November for a further four years, until 2017. RTÉ has been awarded exclusive Irish free-to-air rights to the games as part of a four year extension to their existing contract covering television, radio and digital coverage.

RTÉ TV hosts a Format Farm event and brings together a wealth of local and global talent This week RTÉ Television hosted an exciting and innovative Format Farm* event which brought together Irish TV production companies and international distributors.
RTÉ Television broadcast 19 of the Top 20 Sports Programmes of 2012 RTÉ Television topped the tables with sports fans in 2012, with huge audiences tuning in to the biggest sporting events throughout the year on RTÉ. Figures released show that 19 of the Top 20 most-watched sports programmes – across all channels – were RTÉ Sport programmes.
RTÉ TELEVISION BROADCAST 19 OF THE TOP 20 PROGRAMMES OF 2012 RTÉ Television scored highly with Irish audiences in 2012 as just-released consolidated figures for the Top 20 programmes of the year show that nineteen of the top twenty programmes broadcast by any channel available in Ireland during the year were on RTÉ Television.
