Irish film director, producer, screenwriter, composer, and musician John Carney’s films are known to have a strong music theme, most notably Once, Begin Again and Sing Street. Ahead of his latest film Power Ballad opening in cinemas, Aedín chats with the director and leading actor Paul Rudd about this new release that was filmed in Ireland. It sees Paul Rudd playing a past-his-prime wedding singer who crosses paths with Danny (Nick Jonas), a fading boyband star, during a gig. This chance encounter upends both their lives in very different ways.
