Episode 1
In episode one, Dermot Bannon rocks up to Howth to visit the beautiful home of Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews.
Vogue first saw the house when she was visiting a friend. She said to him, ‘This is my dream house and I’m going to own it one day.” While she is still resident in London with Spencer and their children Theodore, Gigi and Otto, Vogue likes having a base here to retreat to. And she is very excited to show Dermot around.

Next, Dermot makes his way to the dazzling home of jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman. Some years ago, Chupi and her husband Brian wanted a house that would accommodate not only them, but Chupi’s mother, the writer and feminist, Rosita Sweetman. What evolved over the years is a house, glistening with beautiful interior design features and also a private and perfectly laid out basement apartment for her mother. Generational living at its best.
Andrew Porter, Irish international rugby player and Don Mescal, music producer and composer, both open their doors to Dermot. Andrew in fact opens two doors, one to his simply designed home in foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, and the other to his new venture – a gym he has designed himself.
Meanwhile in Cavan, Don brings Dermot through what is probably the most surprising house Dermot has ever stepped inside.

Finally, in Limerick, interior designer to the stars, including Vogue Williams, Geri O’Toole gives Dermot a tour of her converted 19th century cottage and outhouses. Along the way she explains to Dermot what it’s like working with famous and wealthy clients and how she manages their expectations.
