After being abandoned by her sister Sare in Ireland, Suze discovers unsettling news about her fertility. Meanwhile, in Toronto, Sare is planning her wedding, but hiding a secret health crisis.
When an unexpected invitation to Sare’s wedding prompts Suze to travel to Canada, a chaotic journey begins—filled with family secrets, unexpected revelations, and strained relationships.
As Sare’s wedding day approaches, Suze uncovers more about her sister’s struggles, and both women are forced to confront their pasts and their futures. With the wedding spiralling into mayhem, Suze steps up to help her sister-ultimately taking control of her own path toward motherhood.
Episode Six:
Sare and Suze make a pact to go through with the wedding. Suze tries to stand by her sister, but her emotions get the better of her during a reading at the wedding. Sare slurs through her vows and we soon realize she’s taken a cocktail of prescription pills as all kinds of obscenities fly from her mouth. Rock bottom just got lower. Sare confesses to Suze that she knows she needs help, will Suze be by her side? She will. Suze accepts Sare’s offer and returns to Ireland to step into becoming a mother on her own terms.
