High Road Low Road is back, taking over Europe and beyond – from the snowy mountains of Austria to the sunny shores of Cape Town!
This season, the show sends some of the country’s top Celebrities to the most unforgettable destinations.
Across nine episodes on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player the celebrity pairings jet off on two very different holidays. While one enjoys a first-class luxury experience, the other explores the same destination on a budget.
In show one, join Dancing with the Stars judge Karen Byrne and presenter James Patrice in Klaipėda, Lithuania, for dunes, canoes, and a laugh or two. Who will draw the High Road and who will brave the Low Road – expect a trip full of fun in this Baltic gem.
National treasures Daniel & Majella O’Donnell, fly to Zadar on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast. The couple are white water-rafting, lace making and soaking up some medical mud on the local beach!
Salou is the destination for Mrs Brown’s Boys star Fiona O’Carroll and actor Johnny Ward as they immerse themselves in the local culture, even getting the chance to experience a human tower! While Dáithí O’Sé and Glenda Gilson take to the water in two very different boats in the Alentejo region in Portugal.
Irish singing icons Leslie Dowdall and Flo McSweeney marvel at Cape Town’s gorgeous sites. ‘Dancing with the Stars’ colleagues and good friends, Karen Byrne and James Patrice, are paired up to dance their way through the streets of Klaipeda – Lithuania’s third largest city.
In Chania, Crete duo Greg O’Shea and Erica-Cody get to enjoy all the city has to offer – scuba diving, horse riding and banana boat (which no trip is complete without)!
Meanwhile over in Nantes, France, friends and actors Charlene McKenna and Kathy Kiera Clarke enjoy a boat trip and ride a steampunk elephant around town!
