SYNOPSIS
At a time when the economic fate of the nation is increasingly invested in the fortunes of indigenous innovators, this new TV series from RTÉ celebrates 12 men and women who have weathered adversity with stubborn optimism to create thousands of homegrown jobs.
Every week we features three of Ireland’s unsung heroes, each a finalist in the 2025 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year competition. The documentaries will illuminate the entrepreneurs’ initial sparks of inspiration,
the motivations that drive them on, and the impact that their efforts are harvesting for communities the length and breadth of the island.
We go beyond the corporate jargon to observe the authentic experience of running and growing a business at a time of global economic uncertainty.
This four part series starts on RTÉ One on Monday the 3rd of November at 8pm.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER
THE ENTREPRENEURS will be narrated by Kathryn Thomas, one of Ireland’s most
well-known and best-loved TV and radio personalities. She became a household
name as the presenter of Operation Transformation, The Voice and No Frontiers.
Along with helming the Rose Of Tralee, Kathryn has recently presented and
produced an acclaimed documentary called The Skinny Jab Revolution. Kathryn is
herself an entrepreneur – founding and running her own fitness and wellness
enterprise.
