Episode 3- Seán and Jess
They plan to do some major structural repairs, tear apart the inside, reveal the original stonework and design their own kitchen and bedrooms. The couple run a speech therapy business together and have a young baby boy, so time is tight for them both. Sean plans to do most of the work himself, but will also rope in family and friends when necessary.
The couple planned to have the house ready for a family reunion when Jess’ sister returned home from Australia at the end of 2024, but this deadline slipped due to the scale of the job.
When Sean and Jess start peeling back the layers of old plasterwork they realised that they have a lot more work on their hands than they originally envisaged, but they remain one hundred percent committed to restoring the house to its former glory.
