Episode 3 opens with a flashback, before cutting to the present: Anna in hospital, reeling from events of the incident and desperate for answers. At Cloisters, Rachel is restless and increasingly agitated, struggling through withdrawal. Meanwhile, Maggie tells Garv she wants to start IVF, but he brushes her off, reluctantly agreeing to a rigid sex schedule. During a therapy session, Mammy and Rachel clash in spectacular fashion, leaving Rachel even more unsettled. Anna is discharged and returns to her old flat with Helen. Rachel’s old room is a hygiene nightmare. Anna demands Helen take her to Harcourt Street, where she learns the truth: Rachel lied. Meanwhile, Rachel has an infected tooth removed and calls Anna—only to find she’s been blocked. At the same time Anna is blindsided when she gets an unexpected call.
