This afternoon, Aedín features the fascinating American jazz harpist, Dorothy Ashby hailed as one of the most ‘unjustly under loved jazz greats of the 1950s’ and the ‘most accomplished modern jazz harpist’. A trip to New York with the music of Leonard Bernstein played by the New York Philharmonic. Irish tunes from Declan O’Rourke, Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Saint Sister, Mary Black, and John Feeley will play part of the Shannon Suite by Ciarán Farrell.
