From Tuesday July 1, the first season of Yellowstone origin story 1923 will be available to stream from RTÉ Player. 1923 is a sequel to the compelling spin-off 1883, which focused on the Dutton family’s journey west in search of a new life in Montana. Now, 1923 introduces a new generation of Duttons during the time of Prohibition and the start of the Great Depression in America.
This story is the second of several prequels to the hugely popular and critically acclaimed series Yellowstone starring Kevin Costner. 1923 stars Harrison Ford as Jacob Dutton and Helen Mirren as his wife Cara, who lead the Dutton family and the cowboys of Yellowstone ranch.
Directed by Ben Richardson and Guy Ferland, and created by Taylor Sheridan, the show has been warmly received by critics and audiences of the Yellowstone franchise.
