Live from St Jakobshalle, Basel, Switzerland, artists and songs from 15 countries will compete for ten places in next Saturday’s final. Taking part in appearance order: Iceland, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, Ukraine, Sweden, Portugal, Norway, Belgium, Azerbaijan, San Marino, Albania, Netherlands, Croatia and Cyprus. Three direct finalists: Spain, Italy and Switzerland, will also be heard. Viewers in ROI cannot vote tonight. The presenters in Basel are Hazel Brugger and Sandra Studer. Ireland’s entry, Laika Party, performed by Emmy, will be heard tonight. Countries taking part in appearance order: Australia, Montenegro, Ireland, Latvia, Armenia, Austria, Greece, Lithuania, Malta, Georgia, Denmark, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Israel, Serbia and Finland. Viewers in ROI can vote for any of the other fifteen songs tonight. Full details will be given on screen. The other three direct finalists: United Kingdom, France and Germany, will be heard tonight (but viewers cannot vote for these until Saturday).
