Aedín never needs an excuse to include a little Sondheim, but has a new release to share today, new chamber music arrangements celebrating Stephen Sondheim from the duo, Opus Two, violinist William Terwilliger and pianist Andrew Cooperstock. Also today a new release from VARO, a Dublin-based singer and fiddle player, Lucie Azconaga (from France) and Consuelo Nerea Breschi (from Italy) who perform Irish traditional songs and tunes with arrangement influences from the Folk, Baroque and Classical traditions. Aedín dips into their newly released album, ‘The World That I Knew’ that features a selection of Ireland’s most recognised folk musicians.
