Following the success of Zoo Live, this much-loved documentary series returns on Friday, 25th April at 8.30pm, inviting viewers of all ages behind the scenes at Dublin Zoo. From joyous arrivals to emotional farewells, The Zoo shares the real-life stories of the animals and the passionate people who care for them.
Episode 1:
Joy as Nyala the southern white rhinoceros gives birth to her second calf. Meanwhile, Dublin Zoo’s tortoises and turtle get their annual health check, and farriers are called in to help Lumara the okapi with a painful hoof issue. At The Orangutan Forest, the team mourns the loss of one of their most well-known and beloved residents — Sibu the 45-year-old Bornean orangutan.
