Lorcan Murray presents Classic Drive’s Christmas, live with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, Cór na nÓg children’s choir, and mezzo-soprano star Tara Erraught, as they bring you the best of Christmas music and carols, including classical, popular, and traditional Irish melodies. Lorcan brings you on a musical journey through Anderson’s ‘Sleigh Ride’, Tchaikovsky’s ‘Waltz of the Flowers’, and to Wendel’s ‘Little Bolero Boy’; a twist on Ravel’s Bolero with Christmas favourite ‘Little Drummer Boy’. And it wouldn’t be Christmas without song; Cór na nÓg perform Liam Bates’ new composition ‘Blazing Sky’, and Tara Erraught delivers an operatic seasonal moment. Along with the wonderful musical festivities, Luke Clancy is in studio for a Culture File Christmas feature.
