Premiered in December of 1793, Mozart’s Requiem stands as one of the monuments of Classical-era sacred music. A new recording by the Flemish Radio Choir and the orchestra Il Gardellino bring this work to life on period instruments for your Sunday morning delight. Alongside this beautiful centrepiece of today’s programme, we’ll get to hear works on historical guitar by Xavier Diaz-LaTorre, who visits Dublin this coming week with Jordi Savall.
