The Meaning of Life ***New Series***

Joe Duffy returns this October with a new series of The Meaning of Life in which public and influential figures reveal how their lives have shaped, or been shaped by, their experiences, choices, values and beliefs.

Over the course of season 18, Joe speaks with the legendary World Champion and Olympic silver medal-winning athlete Sonia O’Sullivan; popular British actor Ricky Tomlinson; CEO of Tilting the Lens, disability advocate and accessibility consultant, Sinéad Burke; Irish tenor and gold medal winning para-athlete Ronan Tynan; actor and theatre director Olwen Fouéré; journalist, writer and drama critic Fintan O’Toole; actor, writer and farmer Mary McEvoy; former RTÉ broadcaster and journalist, Bryan Dobson; Travellers’ rights activist Catherine Joyce Collins; and former Senator, scholar and civil rights activist David Norris.

Joe Duffy starts this 18th season of The Meaning of Life with an extended special episode, featuring CEO, broadcaster and disability advocate, Sinead Burke, who talks candidly about love in its many forms, revealing the source of her drive and ambition and the challenges she faces navigating the world as a little person, in a career that has taken her from a teaching role to the cover of Vogue and the Obamas’ White House.
