With a whole new suite of live performances among the backdrop of Ireland’s historic landmarks, Anam – Songs for Hearts & Minds returns for a second series, on Thursday the 19th September on RTÉ2.
Following the huge success of last year’s inaugural series, ‘Anam – Songs for Hearts & Minds’ returns to RTÉ this September with a host of extraordinary Irish and international music talent gracing intimate and historical stages around the country.
Produced in partnership by Other Voices and the Office of Public Works, this brand-new four-part series brings together a dynamic and diverse group of artists.
Across four weeks, ‘Anam – Songs for Hearts & Minds’ takes viewers on a sonic journey, blending inspiring live performances with the beauty of some of Ireland’s most prestigious National Monuments and Heritage Properties.
Episode 1: Anam series two kicks off in Tipperary’s breathtaking Ormond Castle, with intimate performances by country and blues sensation Muireann Bradley, musical polymath Uly and an exclusive solo set from Big Thief’s Adrianne Lenker.
