“Saol na mBan” unravels women’s stories from the hearths of rural homesteads to the bustling streets of urban landscapes. Ceara Ní Choinn talks to four women who are now in their 50s, discussing family life, work matters, loss and heartache, the first urban Gaeltacht in the north and much more. Among the topics discussed, Claire Mhic Uiginn tells us about her life growing up in the Bogside Bogaigh in Derry City, Mary Louge from Loch an Iúir explains about the heartbreak she experienced in her life, theatre director Bríd Ó Gallachóir discusses her journey and her passion for drama from childhood and Colma Mhic Aoidh discusses her childhood growing up in the first urban Gaeltacht in the north.
