Dan Hegarty – The Alternative: Prisma live at the Eurosonic Festival – Thursday, June 13:
Danish duo PRISMA proved to be one of the highlights of the 2024 Eurosonic festival. They have received several awards for their brand of electro pop and their live shows; these include a Danish Grammy (DMA) for ‘Best New Live Act’.
Growing up in Odense (the third largest city in Denmark), teenagers Frida and Sirid found a special sound with inspiration from Agnes Obel, The Raveonettes and Trentemøller. Their music is filled with Nordic minimalism, noisy guitars, electronic soundscapes and beautiful vocal harmonies. Their debut album was released in April. Dan brings us highlights of their set on tonight’s show.
