Series Overview:
The Shelter: Animal SOS is a six part observational documentary series following the work at Ireland’s oldest and largest animal welfare charity. Since 1840 the DSPCA has engaged in a battle to rescue and rehabilitate Dublin’s sick and injured animals, and our cameras go behind the lines at their facility in the Dublin mountains. We share the trials and triumphs of a dedicated squad of care-staff, vets and volunteers as they fight to save the lives of a huge variety of all creatures great and small.
