Episode One: Making new friends
In a world where social media connections often surpass real-life relationships, how can we make friends in the real world? Throughout childhood, friends are made at school, through hobbies and even at College. But once we join adulthood, how easy is it to make a real friendship? The duo challenge each other to do just that.
Charleen joins Galz Gone Wild on a hike, while Ellie partakes in a Timeleft dinner – where she joins a table of strangers for a meal. Will either of them strike a chord with a stranger?
Episode Two: Modern Relationships
Charleen and Ellie ponder the question – are traditional relationships and the concept of marriage between two people evolving? And if so – into what?
They take a look at modern relationships… whether it’s open relationships, throuples, fixed term relationships, and they meet some people who are doing it their way.
Episode Three: Follow your dreams
In this episode, Charleen follows her dream of performing live in a band. With the support of Ellie, she sings with The X Collective at a gig in Dublin City. She realises that following a passion isn’t as easy as it sounds so gets some advice from people who have followed their dreams including Lorna Weightman who turned who career in Accountancy into working in Fashion.
Episode Four: Surviving social media
Charleen and Ellie may be social media influencers but even they recognise the world of social media is ever changing, so they organise focus groups to thrash out the rules of social media and online behaviour – and even attempt to write and rewrite the rules – when is it OK to slide into DMs and what are the politics of LIKING. In this eye-opening episode, Charleen and Ellie explore the intriguing world of online behaviour, with a focus on the funny, mischievous, and sometimes toxic nuances.
