SYNOPSIS
Captain Zoom and her crew are back to find out all just how awesome planet earth is! And, this time Zoom leaves the spaceship Curiosity and goes to see for herself some of the brilliant things humans are doing to protect their planet.
The show takes place on the Curiosity, which is captained by a very curious alien called Zoom. Each episode, Zoom finds out something awesome about planet earth and how humans can help protect their home. Zoom’s crewmates are scientists Amy and Mark. They help explain things to Zoom, often by doing fun science experiments.
The ship also asks schoolchildren for help. Each episode, they meet two children who do their own experiment to show Zoom how planet earth works. Later they are joined by more children from their school to take part in the Brain Power Challenge quiz – and Mark beams down to the school to ask the questions!
Each episode ends with the ship teleporting Zoom and one of her crewmates to a place that’s doing something good for planet earth, like a seal rescue centre, a farm, a cafe or Ireland’s biggest bog!

1. Super Seeds
Zoom sees a tractor that’s planting seeds and wants to learn more about seeds. They travel to a school in Tralee, County Kerry. With the help of some curious kids there, Ben and Danny, Zoom finds out that a seed needs light, heat and water to turn into a plant. The crew show Zoom how clever plants are by showing her how some spread their seeds .. by exploding! Finally, the Curiosity takes Mark and Zoom down to Fota Wildlife Park in Cork to meet some animals who help to spread seeds – with their poo!
