Entertainer and musician Pat Shortt and his old friend, Stockton’s Wing frontman Mike Hanrahan, take a musical road trip around Ireland to discover the history behind some of our greatest songs. Then, they perform those songs in local venues with both new and established local musicians.

Episode 2
In episode two, Pat & Mike continue their journey around Ireland beginning in Wexford where they perform Old Woman from Wexford with JaXson (Luke Jackson) before moving on to Wicklow where they perform The Meeting of the Waters with NIMF (Aoibhín Redmond). Leaving Wicklow, they travel to Dublin where they meet Asha Ari (Aisling Moore) and collaborate on a song made famous by Luke Kelly, Raglan Road. The Curragh Camp is the next stop where Bláithín Carney gives her own take on The Curragh Of Kildare. Episode two comes to a close in Mullingar, Co Westmeath where the band Cronin and our two presenters perform The Reason I Left Mullingar.
