Pass It On: Sacar na mBan follows the journeys of three football clubs competing in the top tier of women’s football in Ireland throughout the 2023 season. This 4-part series, narrated by Peter Coonan, reveals all the drama on and off the pitch, the rollercoaster ride that is a season in the LOI Women’s Premier Division.
The series focuses on two of the top women’s teams in the country, Peamount United and Shelbourne F.C., who battle it out for the championship, while Galway United, a new entry to the league with a young squad and a new manager, are engaged in their own battle to prove the doubters wrong.
Episode Four:
With the season coming to a close, Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers both still breathing down their necks, can Peamount hold their nerve and go on to win the league? Galway United’s impressive first season in the league ends on a high note. And the Women’s Premier Division champions are finally crowned.
