Tá an clár ceoil An Taobh Tuathail ag ceiliúradh 25 bliain ar an aer ar RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta an tseachtain seo. Deir láithreoir An Taobh Tuathail, an craoltóir agus an ceirneoir Cian Ó Cíobháin, go raibh RnaG le clos ar fud an tí sa bhaile aige ó saolaíodh é. D’oibrigh a athar, Seán Ó Cíobháin le RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta ar feadh blianta agus is minic gur thug sé Cian isteach sa stiúideo, rud a thaitin go mór le Cian nuair a bhí sé níos óige. Mar chuid den cheiliúradh anocht beidh ceol nua nár h-eisíodh roimhe seo agus nár craoladh cheana le cloisteáil: Roslyn Steer, Eimear Reidy, Linda Buckley, David Kitt, Dylan Henner & Natalia Beylis ina measc.
This week An Taobh Tuathail is celebrating 25 years on air on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta. Cian Ó Cíobháin, broadcaster, DJ and presenter of An Taobh Tuathail said that RnaG had been a consistent soundtrack throughout the house since he was born. His father Seán Ó Cíobháin, worked with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and sometimes brought Cian into the studio with him, which Cian loved. As part of the celebrations tonight we will hear new music which hasn’t been released or broadcast previously; including Roslyn Steer, Eimear Reidy, Linda Buckley, David Kitt, Dylan Henner & Natalia Beylis.
