Pass It On: Sacar na mBan follows the journeys of three football clubs competing in the top tier of women’s football in Ireland throughout the 2023 season. This 4-part series, narrated by Peter Coonan, reveals all the drama on and off the pitch, the rollercoaster ride that is a season in the LOI Women’s Premier Division.
The series focuses on two of the top women’s teams in the country, Peamount United and Shelbourne F.C., who battle it out for the championship, while Galway United, a new entry to the league with a young squad and a new manager, are engaged in their own battle to prove the doubters wrong.
Episode Three:
This week we see Galway goalkeeper Abbiegayle struggling after losing her place in the starting lineup. Meanwhile Shel’s Jessie Stapleton prepares for her big move to London, for her first professional contract with WSL team West Ham United. Peamount’s Tara O’Hanlon suffers a potentially career-threatening injury.
