ALEX & CALUM

In Episode 2;  15 year old Alex from North Dublin has been mitching from school and her volatile behaviour is a source of huge stress for her widowed mother Elaine.  Reality bites for Alex at The Hayes Family Dairy Farm in Tulla, Co Clare where early mornings and scheduled chores are a strict rule and helping out in the local community is a part of teenage life.

Meanwhile 16 year old Calum from Jobstown in Tallaght has dropped out of school with no plan for his future beyond gaming and watching music videos.  But can a dose of hard work and community connection at The Fitzgerald Family’s Marlhill Open Farm in the village of New Inn, Co Tipperary help an aimless Calum to find a new passion for life?
