At DCU, we are with The Gnomes, graduates who took over a neglected garden on campus and turned it into a thriving sustainable food business. We meet the research team from The Icarus centre from Maynooth University who are on location in Wexford as they investigate the effects of climate change. We visit UCD’s Lyons Farm, which is Irelands’ only dedicated teaching and research farm, providing students with firsthand experience of farming practise.
At UCC we meet head gardener Jack Murphy to see what it takes to be one of the world’s most environmentally friendly universities.
