Let’s Dance! Thoinot Arbeau, dance master and composer of renaissance tunes, was born on this day in 1519. Mixing with the subtle sounds of ancient medieval music from the times of St Patrick and the other Irish saints, will be the galliards, gigues, gavottes and other dances that made nimble feet move gracefully in centuries past. And with Early Music Day happening on Thursday 21 March, JS Bach’s birthday, Vlad will have plenty of music by Papa Bach and family ready to go on this special Sunday morning.
