A new season of Nature File returns to the airwaves this week, so as spring unfurls and St. Patrick’s Day is upon us, Anja Murray explores the lives of ‘Slow Worms’. Legend has it that Saint Patrick chased all the snakes from Ireland, but the slow worm, also known as a legless lizard and a fragile snake, is a native species that Saint Patrick seems to have forgotten about.
