Seán Rocks presents a fun and festive New Years Eve to celebrate. Along with a selection of classical, folk and contemporary seasonal favourites, he looks back over the year and remembers some of the highlights. Along the way, he is joined in studio by The Whistle Blast Quartet which includes Mary Curran, (french horn), Kenneth Edge (saxophone), Oonagh Keogh (violin) and Conor Linehan (piano) for a dynamic programme of classical favourites such as Prokofiev’s Troika, Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Sleeping Beauty and Bizet’s Carmen, all performed by this unique quartet arrangement.
