Inspired by the old Celtic tale of Tír na nÓg (the Land of Eternal Youth), Tír na nÓg is a 21 part Irish language live-action language learning series that teaches children how to learn and speak a Irish with confidence, while enhancing creativity and independent thought in early childhood. The format of the 21 x 15 minutes series is story driven and visually dynamic, allowing each episode to focus on a different scenario and encourages children to learn words, counting and colours through nature, games, challenges, songs and adventures. Tír na nÓg sets out to entertain first and foremost, but using the immersion teaching technique, also teaches young audiences a language. Young viewers will see children their own age driving active learning with the help of adults, animation and puppets.
Episode 19: TE AGUS FUAR
It’s a very cold day in Tír na nÓg. To warm-up Fionn is teaching an exercise class and Bó is knitting some legwarmers. Gearóid makes a warm soup for Oisín. Lá fuar feanntach atá ann i dTír na nÓg.
