In Episode 1 of Peataí, the animal experts can’t wait to meet pets (and their humans) from every corner of the island of Ireland. Ellen the vet meets Katie and her fun-loving cat Oreo, who may need to shed a few pounds – but is Oreo to blame or does Katie need to hide the cat treats from her Dad? Meanwhile over at the grooming table, Paul and Hannah meet lovable Louis – a 4-month old Yorkalier pup who is about to be groomed for the very first time. Dog behaviourist Paula has her work cut out for her when she meets the majestic rough collie Jess whose fear of travelling in the car has caused no shortage of stress for owner Ursula.
