EPISODE 4 – KINSALE AND DINGLE ON THE WILD ATLANTIC WAY
John hits the Wild Atlantic Way and two seaside towns with huge food reputations. In Cork’s Kinsale, local restaurateur Martin Shanahan takes him on a food tour and they make the ultimate fish soup from freshly caught fish back at Martin’s restaurant. John does a tasting of the oldest alcoholic drink in the world and finds out why it’s making a comeback. He then heads down the coast to County Kerry. In magical Dingle, he samples some award-winning toasties and Irish Whiskey Ice Cream, before getting a recipe for a distinctly Irish tapas dish.
