Colm Flynn is in the West, in the City of the Tribes, where visitors from near and far are descending on this summer for all Galway has to offer. Nationwide meets the locals and a few of the many thousands of visitors to this tourist city. Colm samples the local food, visits one of the oldest churches in the city and bumps into the Galway Rose and takes a dip in the Atlantic. All in a day in the city of the Tribes.

Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh is on the tourist trail as Nationwide visits the city of Kilkenny where she explores the attractions of this ancient city from its Castle and cobbled streets to its shopping and entertainment centers to its museums and galleries and along the way Bláthnaid meets locals and find out how this great city is kept so well all year round.
FRIDAY 14TH JULY
NATIONWIDE 30 YEARS – JOE DOLAN
As part of the Nationwide 30th anniversary, this evening the programme turns back the clock to 2004 when the late great performer, Joe Dolan guest presented Nationwide and brought viewers on a tour of his hometown of Mullingar. The show sees Joe and the band in action at a local venue and the programme visits the places and people he knew and loved in his home town in County Westmeath.
