Join Áine Lawlor and Marty Morrissey as they return to Bord Bia’s Bloom in the Phoenix Park in Dublin for the first time since 2019.
Broadcasting on Friday 2 June from day 2 of the festival, Áine Lawlor and Marty Morrissey will showcase the best that Ireland’s largest gardening, food and family event has to offer.
Keen Gardener Áine meets some of Ireland’s top Garden Designers who explain the inspiration behind their show gardens and this will prove particularly challenging for one large garden that has been designed just for children, only those under five can fully explore its pathways into nature.
Áine and Marty will cover the results of the Judges and the medals awarded to the designers and we’ll meet first time designers at Bloom including this year’s Super Garden winner.
The show will also be looking at the inspiration behind a garden created with the Children at Oberstown Children Detention Campus.
If you are looking for a party, stick close to Marty who will be serving up the best from the food village which this year has a convoy of food trucks pulling up at the Phoenix Park. And you can’t have a party without music, we’ll be featuring some of Ireland’s most popular buskers, who are taking time out from the city streets to share their talent with the Bloom visitors over the bank holiday weekend.
