Alicia de Larrocha was one of the most important pianists of the 20th century. Over the course of more than seventy years, she played nearly four thousand concerts all over the world, with the most prestigious orchestras and conductors.
Today we’ll hear a recording from 1984 featuring Alicia de Larrocha performing Mozart’s Sonata No. 14 and Granados’ Goyescas Liz Nolan presents a showcase of unabridged musical masterworks, featuring live recordings of Irish and international performers, plus selections from the latest CD releases.
