Beidh eagrán speisialta den chlár le cloisteáil inniu, beo ó Raidió Fáilte i mBéal Feirste, mar chuid de chomóradh 25 bliain Chomhaontú Aoine an Chéasta. Breathnófar siar ar an tréimhse chinniúnach sin i stair Thuaisceart Éireann tráth ar cuireadh deireadh leis na Trioblóidí agus tháinig síocháin i réim. Beidh painéal aoi-chainteoirí i gcuideachta Mháirín Ní Ghadhra agus pléifear suáilcí agus duáilcí an Chomhaontaithe, mar a fheiceann an dá mhór pobal sna Sé Chontae iad. Gheobhfar léargas ó aos óg an Tuaiscirt faoin gcineál todhchaí atá uathu, agus fiosrófar an bhfuil an Comhaontú mar atá in ann an tsamhail sin a chomhlíonadh.
Tune in this morning for a special two-hour edition of the show, live from the Raidió Fáilte studios in Belfast as part of RnaG’s programming to commemorate 25 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement. The programme will look back at that critical time in the history of Northern Ireland which finally brought peace to the region. A panel discussion will look at the positive and negative elements of Agreement, as perceived by the two main communities in the north, and we’ll hear from the younger generation about the type of future they would like to see, and whether or not the Good Friday Agreement can fulfil those expectations. Máirín Ní Ghadhra presents.
