Nationwide has it’s Eye on nature in the bogs of County Offaly where the programme meets wildlife enthusiasts.  Plus, reporter Mary Fanning explores some interesting places to see and visit in and around the county.  Also, as part of our 30 years on air celebrations, Nationwide is looking for your wildlife photos for the photographic competition, Eye on Nature.

Nationwide features a Irish charity Trócaire which, this year, celebrates it’s 50th birthday and which operates around the world in places where people are struggling to survive.  Plus, an amazing Galway woman, gives viewers an insight into her life story and of her campaigning for thalidomide survivors, in County Galway and right around the country.
